Big Trak has been rereleased and is available now, probably the perfect christmas gift for any 80’s child! Big Trak was one of the most popular toys of the 80s. A chunky, cool looking, six-wheeled robotic tank, Big Trak appealed to everyone – robot lovers, car lovers, tank lovers!

With its bold and bright styling, Big Trak became a big hit. But the biggest thing about it was its interactivity… It was revolutionary for its time because it offered you the opportunity to program up to 16 commands in advance!

Using a beeping keypad in the back of the unit, users could input a series of commands (up to 16) and then sit back and watch the Big Trak go about its business. This put the power in the users’ hands and sent the popularity of the Big Trak off the charts!
The stocky little unit would roll off in whatever direction you wanted and could stop, reverse, turn around and even fire a laser (which was in fact a cannon mounted on top with a flashing blue LED and sound effects.)

Kids loved sending their Big Trak off on important missions such as scaring the cat, knocking over pot plants and top secret reconnaissance of the living room.

Now the Big Trak has been re-released and has had a minor visual update to bring it bang up to date. A set of 80s stickers are included though so you can still decorate your Big Trak in all those wacky 80s colour schemes. The components have all been updated too so you can be sure of a quality product that will stand up to today’s kids.
