Essential Paddling Pool Accessories
June 2nd, 2009 by RedSave Reviews
Yesterday we took a look at some of the great paddling pools on offer at Redsave, perfect for the hot summer months when you want a relaxing swim but don’t want to go traipsing down to the busy public swimming pool. If you do get a paddling pool though you’ll probably want some extra accessories, and of course Redsave is here to help.
240v Mains Inflate Deflate Pump
If you’ve bought an inflatable paddling pool this mains-powered pump is an absolute necessity. It saves you from the effort of pumping the pool yourself, just plug the pump in and it will inflate pools in a fraction of the time. It can also deflate pools, saving you from rolling around on them trying to squeeze out the last bit of air.
36 Inch Paddling Pool Ladder
This ladder is used to help people get in and out of the pool. Just sit it either side of the pool, one edge rests in the pool itself, the other on the outside. It’s 36 inches tall so will suit most of the pools available at Redsave.
Floating Chemical Holder
This isn’t one for the inflatable pools, but if you have a rigid-wall pool then you’ll want to add chemicals to keep the water fresh and clean. The Floating Chemical Holder slowly dissolves Bromine or Chlorine tablets into the water so you don’t need to pour them in, keeping the chemicals at a safe and manageable level.
Solar Pool Cover
If you leave your pool up overnight then this is another essential (and very inexpensive) addition. The solar pool cover floats on top of round pools, and not only does it prevent leaves, insects and other junk accumulating, but it traps heat inside so your pool stays warmer.
