Griffin iKaraoke

June 19th, 2009 by RedSave Reviews

Karaoke is a hugely popular pastime all over the world, and not just in Japan. Go to any town in Britain any day of the week and there’s a good chance you’ll find someone drunkenly warbling their way through a pop hit in a pub or bar.

But breaking out in song in public requires some courage (as well as plenty of alcohol) and if you’re not too sure how you’ll perform then you may want to get some practice in at home first. No need to buy a proper karaoke machine though, you can actually use your iPod music player thanks to the Griffin iKaraoke.

The iKaraoke is made up of two parts: a processor unit and a microphone. Plug the processor into your iPod and then attach the microphone. The clever processor isolates the lead vocal track in any music playing, letting you take over the lyrics.

You can also plug the iKaraoke into a home stereo so everyone can join in. It’s compatible with any iPod that has a dock connector and no batteries are required so you can sing to your heart’s content.
