When you think of Tomy you probably get an image of kids toys and board games, but the company has a long history of making some great robotic toys, and although they are often aimed at kids there’s usually enough technical wizardry to make them interesting for us grown ups too.
The I Sobot is no exception. This very cool looking robot has a great chunky look like a Transformer and is packed with with high tech features. He’s actually the world’s smallest mass produced bi-pedal ‘bot, standing just 16cm tall and weighing only 300g.
I Sobot comes ready to go out of the box. Switch him on and you can choose four different modes of operation. I Sobot can act out scenes, listen and respond to voice commands, perform dancing and gymnastics and speak over 200 phrases.
I Sobot is fitted with 17 servo motors that allow for full and realistic articulation, so he can walk and perform all kinds of actions such as kung fu and dancing.
This amazing robot is a great toy for all ages and packs a lot really impressive technology into a very small package.
